674 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Interesting Sound"

I recorded this using a bottle and a bowl of water. I experimented a bit & got some interesting sounds. I recorded this & combined it with some other recordings to make a sound effect for some goo.

I got hold of an old sony dat machine (tcd-d10 pro) and noticed a very interesting sound when i opened the door to the cassette compartment. The sound was recorded with an olympus ls-14 and was slightly edited in wavosaur.

Hitting radiator with fingers and scrapping over with a metallic object (car-key). When amplify the quiet content, some interesting sound can be worked out. Recorded with a ultra cheap microphone unit of my mp3 player. Reduced noise.

I recorded mostly nothing, then normalized it, so it was mostly loud static. I used audacity's noise remover to make the sound and it's wahwah effect to make it move across stereo space. Very interesting, good for static and alien voices.

Recorded some sounds, filtered out the noize, reversed it and put paulstretcher on it. Had to amplify the bass, because there was an incredibly awkward high-pitch sound in the background. On this lo-fi recording, corn grains are sitting in a frying pan and begin to pop as the oil is hissing. It provides an interesting and regular popping sound suitable for mid-range frequencies. The recording is done with a tie-microphone, and extra treatment is done on audacity to reduce noise and isolate the sound.

This is my wind entry for the competition. It's derived from some recorded voice and putting a microphone in various containers while the wind was blowing. I was able to get some interesting sounds from this, then i used some mutation effects, convolution, and phase vocoding to combine the voice and the wind sounds into this short piece.

An exercise thing which you squeeze that makes a loud creaking noise, sounds interesting pitched down. Recorded with a mid-sides mic setup. Mics used were akg 414, and an oktava mk-012-01 pencil condenser.

Here are the highlights from a mri machine (a ge signa, i believe). Probably useful for robot sounds. You'll also note the cooling system in there as well. These things dissipate a huge amount of energy and are quite interesting. The actual sounds come from vibration of the coils as the machine runs through it's patterns.

This sound was from a live video feed on a social media broadcast. At some point the audio just got caught into a feedback loop that lasted for a bit. I thought it sounded interesting and saved it. Has kind of a laser or phaser cannon kind of thing going on. Perhaps an alert sound of some sort. Probably many possibilities for usage.

24 bit 44100 khz sound recorded with zoom h6. The area is very close to the magical small village of krippen, germany. The river flows undisturbed - at some point though you can hear a car passing by. Its tires interact with the wet asphalt creating yet another interesting sound effect.

I was just messing around with audacity recently and recorded a word "no". Then stretched it out using tempo stretch function (function that streches speed, but does not alter the pitch) maxed out twice in a row. That resulted in such a simple word stretched out to almost 5 minutes. Sounds rather scary and interesting.

Here's the original version of the mosquito device that's designed to repel teenagers from shops and streets. If you're over 25 you won;t hear anything but the street sounds and a girl laughing. If you're under 25 then you might hear a rather nasty high pitched siren sound. . . Terrible quality (mp3) recording but interesting to know just how much sound isn't heard. Just because you can't hear it doesn't mean it isn't there.

This is a kind of dull, soft laser bolt or gun blast. Or perhaps just some sort of impact sound. I thought it was interesting, because what it really is made up of is the sound of me shuffling my cell phone around for a second. How it ended up sounding like this i don't know. A baler machine being used at a recycling centre. The baler goes through a full cycle from start to finish and is generally used to compress cardboard into small cubes which can then be recycled. The sound is very interesting and unique. I recorded this sound on an iphone. I hope you find it useful and entertaining!.

Created this by saying something like, "testing the mic" in ableton, right clicking and converting that audio. Midi > into melody. . Then adding some stock sound and some reverbs and what not. . Try it yourself.

Interference is a interesting phenomenon. I blow a bass tone and add my own voice, first i adjust my voice to same wavelength as the instrument, then i change my voice linearily, and you can follow how you get a 3rd tone, which is either a+b or a-b.

16-bit 44100 hz quality, but some bitcrush has been applied so the real samplerate is unknown. I modified the drums preset in labchirp. These are just some sounds i found interesting while testing and modifying the preset. These are unedited, so some clean up might be needed.
